OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

 

The broad objective of the proposed programme is to sustain the institutionalization of the training of Microfinance practitioners.
 
The specific objectives for the establishment of the programme are to:

1. train facilitators for the running of the microfinance programmes.
2. deepen the theoretical and practical discourse in the industry.
3. train students to undertake quality research to enhance the development of the microfinance sub-sector
4. make UCC the Centre of Excellence in research and advocacy in microfinance policy.
5. deepen University-Stakeholder relationship in microfinance.
