I   had  my secondary education in Keta secondary school from 1989 to 1994 and continued to purse my advance level certificate at St. Paul’s secondary school, Denu. After completion, l enrolled into St. Francis College for my Advance teacher certificate in education in 1999. Upon completion, l entered University of Cape Coast for my first degree in economics and continued to pursue my masters in economics from University of Ghana between the year 2003 to 2005. Currently am lecturing in Department of Economics, University of Cape Coast.

Areas of interest:

Economics of Poverty, Labour Economics, Public Sector Economics, Industrial Economics and Monetary Economics.  Enjoy teaching micro and maroeconmics.

Professional activities

  • International Comparism Programme(ICP) – Monitoring & Evaluation Plan Implementation – Member of the eight-man interim team of consultants engaged by African Development Bank on behalf of the ECOWAS to implement the ICP Monitoring and Evaluation plan. The team was involved in the establishment of the various institutional frameworks, input-output monitoring and design of impact assessment studies towards impact and outcome monitoring of the ICP. The team has since being responsible for the development of the purchasing power parity of the country and Annual Progress report on the ICP implementation.
  • Program Impact Assessment Mission – Member, team of consultants engaged by the ministry of health to undertake impact assessment of selected on-going poverty reduction related programs on behalf of the Ministry to make recommendations as inputs into the drawing a five year development programme for the District (Asebu in the Central region).
  • International Comparism Programme – Facilitator at a series of training sessions for enumerators for the data collection for the calculation of the purchasing power parity for the country.
  •    Industrial Census - Facilitator at a series of training sessions for enumerators  on how to collect data for the industrial census conducted by Ghana Statistical Service.
