Mr Camara K. Obeng, a senior lecturer of Economics, obtained his MPhil in economics from the University of Cape Coast in 2000 where he has taught since 2001. He has published seven papers on the internet, in books and in refereed journals. He has just completed an African Economic Research Consortium project titled “Effect of Import liberalization on tariff revenue in Ghana”. He is presently doing his PhD in the Department of Economics, University of Cape Coast, Ghana. His research interests include analysing impacts of trade reforms on household poverty using applied dynamic general equilibrium models and applied econometric techniques.
