Biography:
Completed PhD research at the University of Hull Business School’s Centre of Economic Policy (CEP) in the U.K. in the area of exchange rate, poverty, and economic development using computable General Equilibrium and Econometric techniques. Prior to this, he had obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a MSc. Economics in Public Policy at Hull University in the U.K. During his PhD studies, he was engaged as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Business School and taught various modules in Economics.

Teaching:       

Dr. Mark Armah currently teaches Advanced Economic Theory and Econometrics at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Research:      

Dr. Armah’s main research interest focus on exchange rate economics, applied general equilibrium and poverty analysis in developing countries. Analyzing trade, growth and redistribution in allocation of resources using applied econometric techniques.
